The short version: we collect what we need to run your account and your paper record, we don’t run ad trackers or analytics SDKs, we don’t sell your data, and we take no money from sportsbooks. You can delete everything at any time.
Who we are
StatIQ Sports LLC (“StatIQ”, “we”) operates statiqsports.com. Contact us at support@statiqsports.com.
What we collect
- Account. Your email address, and a username if you set one. Authentication is handled by Supabase; we never see or store your password.
- Your paper bets. The player, market, line, side, price, and stake for each bet you log, plus how it graded. These are paper bets — units, not money.
- Kalshi connection (only if you choose to link it). Your Kalshi API key ID and private key, plus the trades we import from your account. See the section below — this one deserves its own.
- Referrals. Your invite code, who joined through it, and any credit earned.
- Billing. If you subscribe, Stripe processes the payment and we store only the Stripe customer and subscription identifiers. We never see or store your card number.
- Support messages. Whatever you send us.
- Error reports. When the app breaks, we log the error message, stack trace, the page it happened on, and your browser’s user-agent string, so we can fix it.
What we don’t collect or do
- No advertising trackers, and no third-party analytics SDKs. There is no Google Analytics, no Meta pixel, no session recorder on this site.
- We do not sell or rent your personal information. To anyone. Ever.
- We take no money from sportsbooks. No affiliate deals, no revenue share, no referral fees. We are paid only by subscribers, so nobody here earns anything when you lose a bet. When we link out to a book, we get nothing for it.
- We never place bets. Not on a sportsbook, and not on Kalshi.
Your Kalshi connection
If you link a Kalshi account so your record is verified rather than self-reported, this is exactly what happens:
- We only accept a read-only key. Kalshi API keys carry permissions. When you connect, we ask Kalshi what your key is allowed to do, and we refuse to store it if it can place trades or move money — including refusing if Kalshi reports no permissions at all, because we can’t prove it’s read-only.
- The key is encrypted at rest (AES-256-GCM), is never written to a log, and is never returned by any part of the site or API.
- We use it for one thing: reading your executed trades so we can import them.
- Disconnect deletes it. Immediately and permanently. Bets already imported stay on your record unless you delete those too.
What lives only on your device
Your favorite players, display preferences (units vs dollars), book selection, and simple/advanced mode are stored in your browser’s local storage. They never reach our servers.
What’s public
If you enable it, your username and paper record can appear on the community leaderboard and on your public profile page. This is off unless you turn it on, and you can turn it off at any time in Settings. Your email is never public.
Who we share it with
We use these providers to run the service. We share only what each one needs:
- Supabase — authentication and database.
- Vercel and Render — hosting for the website and the API.
- Stripe — payments, if you subscribe.
- Kalshi — only if you link an account, and only to read your trades.
Sports data (odds, scores, game logs) comes from third-party sources. We send no personal information to any of them. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
Your rights
You can access, correct, export, or delete your data — including your entire betting record — by emailing support@statiqsports.com. We’ll act within 30 days. Deleting your account removes your personal data; we may keep anonymized, non-identifying records (for example, aggregate model accuracy) that cannot be traced back to you.
If you’re in California, the CCPA gives you rights to know, delete, correct, and opt out of the sale of personal information. We don’t sell personal information, so there’s nothing to opt out of — but the other rights apply and the email above is how you use them.
Retention
We keep your account data while your account exists. Error logs are kept only as long as they’re useful for fixing bugs.
Age
StatIQ is not for anyone under 18, and we don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has given us information, email us and we’ll delete it.
If there’s ever a breach
We hold your data on Supabase, Render, and Vercel, with secrets encrypted at rest and no plaintext credentials anywhere in our systems. If personal information is ever exposed, we will notify affected users without unreasonable delay, and notify the Oklahoma Attorney General within the time the law requires.
Changes
If we change this policy in a way that materially affects you, we’ll email you before it takes effect. The “last updated” date at the top always reflects the current version.
