Install StatIQ
Put StatIQ on your home screen. It takes about ten seconds and costs nothing.

Not your device? Steps for everything else
iPhone / iPad — Safari
Safari can put StatIQ on your home screen as a real icon. Three taps.
- Tap the Share button — the square with an arrow pointing up, in the Safari toolbar.
- Scroll down the share sheet and tap "Add to Home Screen".
- Tap "Add". The StatIQ icon appears on your home screen.
Apple has never allowed a one-tap install on iPhone, so these three taps are the whole process — there is no button we can add that skips them.
iPhone / iPad — Chrome, Firefox or Edge
You're in Chrome, Firefox or Edge on iOS. Apple only lets Safari add apps to the home screen — no other iPhone browser can do it.
- Open your browser menu and choose "Open in Safari" (Chrome puts it under the ⋯ / share button).
- If there is no such option, copy this page's address and paste it into Safari.
- In Safari: tap Share → "Add to Home Screen" → "Add".
This is an Apple restriction, not a StatIQ one. It applies to every website.
iPhone / iPad — opened inside another app
This page opened inside Instagram, Facebook or a similar app. Their built-in browser cannot install anything.
- Tap the ⋯ menu in the corner and choose "Open in browser" / "Open in Safari".
- Once you are in Safari: tap Share → "Add to Home Screen" → "Add".
On iPhone the final step has to happen in Safari specifically — Chrome on iOS cannot do it either.
Android — Chrome, Edge, Samsung Internet, Brave
Your browser can install StatIQ as a real app — it lands in your app drawer like any other.
- Open the ⋮ menu (top right).
- Tap "Install app" — or "Add to Home screen" on older versions.
- Confirm "Install".
If the Install button on this page is greyed out, browse the site for a few seconds and come back — Chrome waits until you have actually used a site before it offers to install it.
Android — Firefox and other browsers
Your browser can add StatIQ to your home screen, though it won't offer a one-tap install.
- Open the browser menu (⋮ or ≡).
- Tap "Add to Home screen" (Firefox lists it under "Add to…").
- Confirm.
Chrome on Android gives a smoother install if you have it — the app itself is identical.
Android — opened inside another app
This page opened inside Facebook, Instagram or a similar app, and their built-in browser cannot install anything.
- Tap the ⋮ menu and choose "Open in Chrome" / "Open in browser".
- In Chrome: ⋮ menu → "Install app" → "Install".
Computer — Chrome, Edge, Brave or Opera
Chrome, Edge, Brave and Opera can run StatIQ in its own window, without browser chrome.
- Look for the install icon in the address bar — a small screen with a down arrow.
- Or open the ⋮ menu → "Cast, save and share" → "Install page as app…" (Edge: "Apps" → "Install this site as an app").
- Confirm "Install".
Same app, same data, same account — it just gets its own window and taskbar icon.
Mac — Safari
Safari on macOS Sonoma or newer can run StatIQ as its own app in the Dock.
- In the Safari menu bar, choose File → "Add to Dock…".
- Confirm the name and click "Add".
On macOS Ventura or older, Safari has no install option — Chrome or Edge does.
Computer — Firefox
Mozilla removed that feature and has not brought it back, so there is no install step we can give you here. This is a browser limitation, not a missing feature on our side.
Chrome, Edge, Brave and Opera can install it on the same computer. On a phone, Firefox for Android CAN add it to your home screen.
Any other browser
We couldn't tell which browser you're using, so here is the general shape of it — the exact wording differs by browser.
- Open your browser's main menu.
- Look for "Install app", "Install this site as an app", or "Add to Home Screen".
- Confirm.
On an iPhone this only exists in Safari. On Android it is in Chrome's ⋮ menu.
What you’re actually getting
- A real icon and a full-screen app. It opens without the browser address bar, appears in your app switcher, and looks and behaves like any other app on your phone.
- The same StatIQ. Same account, same paper bets, same record — this is our web app installed to your device, not a separate product. Nothing to sign up for again.
- It is not in the App Store or Google Play. Not yet. We’d rather say that plainly than let you go looking. Installing from this page is the whole process, and there is nothing else to download.
- It needs a connection. Lines, prices, projections and the board are never saved to your device — on purpose. Offline you get a “you’re offline” screen instead of last night’s numbers, because a stale price you might bet against is worse than no price.
- No notifications yet. Installing does not sign you up for anything, and we cannot send you a push even if we wanted to. When that changes it will be something you turn on, not something that arrives.
- Uninstalling is deleting the icon. Press and hold, remove, done. There is no separate app to clean up and nothing else is placed on your device.
